Katherine Barra, MD is a third-year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at Universidad Católica del Norte, Hospital de La Serena, Chile. She has a strong interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology, vulvar dermatology, and complex gynecologic conditions in young patients. Her clinical work focuses on women’s health advocacy, evidence-based research, and improving access to specialized gynecologic care for pediatric and adolescent patients. She is also interested in fetal medicine and ultrasound, integrating advanced imaging techniques into gynecologic and obstetric care.
