Kendra Hutchens, PhD is a Senior Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine and the Co-Director of Research in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She is a sociologist by training and her research agenda focuses on the ways in which social factors influence sexual and reproductive health and how socal location—the confluence of gender, race, age, and class, among other factors—shapes the health and autonomy of young people.
