Prof. Žana Bumbulienė, MD, PhD, IFEPAG
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine OB/GYN Clinic and a consultant in the tertiary care center – Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos.
Z.Bumbuliene was initially trained at Lithuania's Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her Ph.D. thesis on menstrual disorders at Warsaw Medical University in Poland in 2002. IFEPAG Fellow since 2007.
She is the President of the Lithuanian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Immediate Past President of EURAPAG (European Association of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology), and a Vilnius Medical Society board member.
She is an Editorial Board Member of scientific journals: "Lithuanian Obstetrics and Gynecology," "Wiadomości Lekarskie," "Ginekologia Polska," "Pediatric and Adolescent Reproductive Health, "and Editor-in-Chief of "Topicalities in Gynecology."
Prof. Bumbuliene has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers and several book chapters and has delivered over 100 lectures to international scientific audiences.
