Dr. Philippa Brain, MD, FRCSC, University of Calgary:
Philippa Brain is a Clinical Professor in the Dept of OBGYN at the University of Calgary. She is a generalist OBGYN with a subspeciality in PAG. She has administrative experience as Site lead of FMC and Division Head of PAG. She is presently the Medical Director for the Women's Health Patient integrated Network for the Province of Alberta. Philippa has further training in Patient safety and an interest in critical incident review in perinatal and maternal mortality and morbidity. Her clinical gynecological practice is focused on PAG specific care, atypical anatomy and transgender care. She loves adventure travel, biking, paddling and cross-country skiing. She has raised three lovely children and is grateful for the loving support of her husband.
