Fellow
Nationwide Children's Hospital
My name is Jordi Friese, MD and am currently a second year fellow in adolescent medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. I completed medical school at St. George’s University, College of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada and my pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Texas A&M, in Corpus Christi, TX. I have an interest in adolescent reproductive health, particularly polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). I am a co-investigator in the Clinical Adolescent Polycystic Ovary (CALICO) consortium. The goal of this consortium is to develop a national registry of adolescents with PCOS to describe the presenting reproductive and metabolic phenotypes, natural history, and response to therapy in a large sample of geographically, ethnically, and racially diverse youth with PCOS. Under the mentorship of primary mentor, Dr. Andrea Bonny, I have developed and overseen implementation of a retrospective chart review exploring the effects of medication management on serum androgen levels in adolescents with PCOS
