Dr. Beth Schwartz is a pediatric and adolescent gynecologist at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA and Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Anthropology at Harvard University and her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She did her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and a fellowship in Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She has been the Director of the Jefferson/Nemours Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Program since 2015. Beth has known that she wanted to be a pediatric and adolescent gynecologist since she was in high school. Her research interests are in non-contraceptive uses of IUDs, diagnosis of adnexal torsion, and reproductive health in transgender and gender diverse youth.
